Intimate Capacity
Our elegant dining room accommodates up to 22 guests, making it the perfect setting for intimate private gatherings filled with character and historic charm.
We are pleased to offer private hire for groups of 12 or more from Sunday to Wednesday. Private hire enquiries for Thursday to Saturday are also welcome and are subject to availability depending on the date.
Bespoke Menus
Work with our chef to create custom menus featuring fresh regional dishes from Puglia, and perfectly paired Italian wines.
Flexible Options
Depending on the needs of your event, we offer various pricing structures including a set price per head, minimum spend, or simple room hire fee.

Questions We’re Often Asked
What does private hire at Taste Italian mean?
It means the entire restaurant is exclusively yours for the evening. This isn't a private room within a larger venue when you book, you and your guests have the whole bistro to yourselves.
How many guests can you seat?
We seat up to 22 guests comfortably. It's what makes the experience feel so personal big enough for a celebration, intimate enough that everyone's part of the conversation.
Is there a minimum group size?
Monday to Wednesday, we require a minimum of 12 guests. Thursday to Sunday, we ask for a minimum of 20 guests or a minimum spend. Get in touch and we'll talk through what works for your plans.
Can I choose my own menu?
Absolutely. You can dine from our main menu or we can create a completely bespoke menu tailored to your event including drinks packages and wine pairings. It's your evening, so we'll work around what suits you and your guests best.
How much does private hire cost?
Pricing is flexible and depends on your group size, menu choices, and drinks package. We'd rather have a conversation than give you a generic price list drop us a message and we'll put together something that fits your budget and vision.
What kind of events do you host?
Everything from birthday dinners and anniversaries to corporate events, engagement parties, and family get-togethers. If you've got a reason to gather good people around great food, we're the place for it.
